Emerald Falls is a five-reel slot with 50 possible pay lines for players to win big. The base game features a variety of symbols, including the idyllic waterfall, a bonus spin logo, the game logo, a wild symbol, an emerald, and symbols for king, queen, jack, 10, and nine. Like most slot games, all pays (except scatter pays) must be adjacent on an active pay line and are read from left to right. Scatter pays will be paid in addition to regular-line wins. Wild symbols can substitute any symbol on an active pay line, except for the Hot Spin symbol.
In Emerald Falls, if there are three or more Hot Spin symbols appearing anywhere on the reels, the Hot Spin Feature will begin. The player will be awarded five Hot Spins, in which bets are equal to a single-line bet of the initiating spin but pay as if betting on all lines. During the Hot Spin Feature, more Hot Spins may be awarded with the One More Hot Spin symbol. If one of these symbols appear, one additional Hot Spin will be awarded. Two scattered extra Hot Spin symbols will result in two additional Hot Spins, and the player will get two times the total credit bet. Three scattered extra Hot Spin symbols will result in three additional Hot Spins, and the player will get three times the total credit bet.
While Emerald Falls may not be as over the top as WMS’ Rainbow Reels, the idyllic scenery and graphics featured in the game call back to the picture-perfect landscapes of Ireland. With its jaunty, traditional music and Celtic-knot inspired typography, players will feel comfortably transported to the lucky land of Ireland.
