Accel started as an idea between a few business professionals who saw an opportunity for success in the Illinois gaming market. From there, Accel's founders brought their family and friends together to grow a company that focused on developing mutually successful relationships with our customers and players. We were granted one of the first terminal operator licenses in Illinois on March 15, 2012. And now, Accel is the leading terminal operator in Illinois and a multi-state employer with new ventures such as Georgia, Pennsylvania, Missouri and more.
Accel Entertainment has come a long way since October 2012, when Illinois video gaming officially went live. However, we are pleased to say that Accel’s core values have not changed.
